Learning Challenge: Why Sleeping May Be More Important Than Studying

Why Sleeping May Be More Important Than Studying
I already knew that you shouldn't study all night, and that if you didn't get enough sleep you could do worse on a test or in class in general. I didn't know that in REM sleep you consolidate more and get rid of useless information to make more room for the useful information. I am curious to explore how long REM sleep is and when approximately it starts and ends so I can make sure I have enough sleep to at least get through that stage of the sleeping cycle.

  1. Yes, this article is so interesting! I know we've all heard that you'll do better on a test if you go to sleep early and get a full night's rest rather than pulling an all-nighter. Although I know that and understand why it's better to get a full night's sleep, it's still hard to go to sleep early when I haven't efficiently prepared for the test the following day!
Sleep is definitely important and so interesting how it affects our bodies.

Mostly action and sci-fi movies but also ones based off of real life stories. I absolutely love all the Marvel movies and the Harry Potter movies. I also like to read books mostly young adult and romance books. If I'm not doing either of the two I'm usually in my studio classroom in Gould Hall doing whatever project I was assigned. We spent two days in Lusaka where he was born, and then we went to Livingston where we saw Victoria Falls. We also spent some time in Tanzania where we took a day hike up Mt. Kilimanjaro and a week long sa
