Week 14 Story: The Unknown Brother

One day Narada had a mango and he decided to go and offer it to one of Shiva’s sons. As he was making the climb up Mount Kailasa Narada wondered which of Shiva’s sons he should give the mango to. Unable to decide, Narada came up with an idea to decide who to give the mango to. Narada finally made it to the top and sitting there were the people he had come looking for. Shiva smiled and said, “What brings you here to today, Narada?” Narada smiled at Shiva and Parvati and then turned towards their sons and said, “I came to give this mango to one of your sons. I have also made a competition to decide who gets the mango. The person who can go around the world three times before the other gets the mango.” And with that statement Kartikeya jumped onto his peacock and immediately went off. Radha was pacing around the lake in the village muttering to herself, “I have had enough of Krishna and his player ways.” “Who are you talking to,” said a voice from behind her. Radha whirled around and saw a mysterious man. She said, “Who are you?” The mysterious man replied, “Just a passerby who happened to hear you muttering to yourself. You know a good way to vent your anger out is to just talk about it.” Radha eyed the mysterious man and then she decided that it might be for the best if she talked to someone about it, and since she had no friends this man was just as good as any. “OK,” she said. Arjuna was a regular 21 st century man who had once lived with his five brothers and his mother. One day however him and his brother fought over a woman named Draupadi. So Arjuna decided instead of fighting with his brother he would go on a journey backpacking all over the India. The first place Arjuna ended up was near the Himalayas right next to the Ganga river. For months Arjuna camped there and would bathe in the Ganga. One day while bathing Arjuna all of sudden passed out and when he woke up there was beautiful women above him. Arjuna asked, “Who are you?” The beautiful women replied, “I am Ulupi. I live nearby and I saw you pass out in the river and dragged you out of the river.” Arjuna said, “Thanks, but I must really be going.” But Ulupi stopped him and said, “But I’ve been watching you for months and I have fallen in love with you.” So Arjuna returned to Ulupi’s home with her, and stayed with her and her family. Week 3 Story: The Doctor and the Wedding

The doctor was a little confused he had meant to go to  1559 England and watch the coronation of Elizabeth the first but instead he was in a forest outside the city of Maithila surrounded by a bunch of men pointing weapons at him. One man steps forward and says “I am Rama son of King Dasaratha and just who are you.” “Who me,” the doctor asks. “Well I’m but a humble traveler. Anyways what’s going on over there looks like there’s a party going on.” Rama eyes the traveler and replied “It is the wedding celebration.” “Oh a wedding, I love weddings. Well then men let’s go. On to the wedding,” the doctor said. Rama and Lakshmana exchange wary glances, but follow the doctor on into the city. While the doctor was rambling on about weddings Rama was taking in his surroundings when he suddenly froze and stared at the most beautiful woman he had ever seen before. There was an angel named Castiel and he was naive in the ways of humans. One day he was wondering around in London when he happened upon Crowley who is the king of hell and a frenemy of Castiel’s. Crowley was done with his duties as the king of hell for the day and was bored so he decided to mess with Castiel. “Castiel,” he said “The archangel Michael has broken free from the cage in hell and is trying to destroy the world. A little birdie informed me that he would be in Norman, Oklahoma in one day.” Castiel immediately turned pale and then said “I must return to heaven and inform the other angels of this. We must do everything in our power to stop him from destroying the world.” And thus Castiel returned to heaven where he informed the other angels of the impending end of the world.
